Questions about the books

What is the Plainspoken Tech for Seniors series?

It’s a series of large-print, step-by-step guides for older adults, written by Graham Tulley and published by Plainspoken Tech. There are five books: AI for Seniors, Scam-Proof, Your iPhone, Your iPad and Your Android Phone.

Are the books really large print?

Yes. The paperbacks use 15-point body text on a roomy 7 × 10 inch page, set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface the Braille Institute designed for readers with low vision. Headings are bigger still. In the Kindle edition you can make the text as large as you like.

Which book should I start with?

Start with the book for the device you use most: iPhone, iPad or Android phone. If scams worry you, Scam-Proof is the one every family member can use. If you’re curious about AI assistants such as ChatGPT, start with AI for Seniors.

Where can I buy the books?

On Amazon, as a paperback and as a Kindle ebook, in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and other countries. The books are coming soon; each book page will show Amazon links as soon as it’s released.

Can I get the free kit without buying a book?

Yes. The AI Starter & Scam-Stopper Kit is free for everyone. Print it and share it with your family.
